  • Baby's Dotty Cot Quilt (QU003)
A distinctive hand-made cot quilt made with contemporary cotton fabrics in a block and stripe design with appliqué hearts, teddy bears, cats, rocking horses and star shapes in variety of sizes.  Hand pieced together, machined and then hand stitched with red silk thread to enhance the appliqué elements to secure the Hobbs Heirloom Washable 100% wool wadding to the front of the cot quilt.  Can also be used as a floor mat for play time.

Cleaning instructions:  Wash separately, especially the first washing, because some of the fabric dyes may be subject to 'run' until the excess 'over dye' from the manufacturing process has washed out.  As a precaution, use cold, cool, or room temp water, and gentle agitation settings on your machine.

Partially dry the quilt in your dryer on low/cool dryer settings and remove immediately when drying cycle is over.  It is not recommend hanging your quilt on a clothes line, because the sun fades cottons quickly and folding over a taught line can weaken or break the cotton threads on the fold.

Part of the beauty of Patchwork Quilts is the 'quilted' look that comes from shrinkage of the cotton patches of fabric and wadding that shows off the quilting (stitches).

    Size: W 91cm x L 98cm

Use a small amount of soap (not detergent).  Also, a good idea to let quilt soak in the soapy water about 10 minutes before agitating on a short cycle. When done, rinse AGAIN. You want all of the soap out of the quilt before drying.
