    A wonderful soft cover book “Be your own house plant expert” by Dr D G Hessayon published in 1973 – 2nd edition of Britain’s best-selling book on indoor gardening.  Chapters 11 covering Plants in the Home, to plants in trouble and Cut Flowers.

    There is some wear and tear but generally in good condition.  Great present for the indoor gardener you know.

    A wonderful wooden box, decorated with quirky looking dogs.  The box probably was made to house playing cards or cigarettes, however a lovely thing to hidden those treasured bits and pieces!

    Measuring approximately 6” x 4.1/2” x 2.1/4” deep, the lid pivots on its axis for a smooth opening action.

  • Quality and Value! (TF044)
    A wonderful vintage grocer’s price label given a new lease of life in a quirky piece of wall art.  The classic label 7/6 for ½ lb (worth about 37.5p today) has been mounted on a great photograph of tomatoes and then framed in a white box frame.

    Knowles & Son, Grocers were based in Bentham Village in Yorkshire.  According to the National Archives they were in business from 1866 to 1896.
